For those who have this fixture and use it currently how has the growth been on your corals? Also what size tank are you using it on and how many fixtures are you running? I going to be getting a 60 gallon tank that is 3ft long, 21in tall and 18in front to back. I was wondering if one of these fixtures will be enough for the tank.

Yes a 55 3watt led will cover a 36 inch tank be sure you hang it high enough above the water to cover end to end.

It's going to be inside a canopy. Not sure how far off the water it will be.

should be at least 8" but I will tell you my Chinese light lasted a year then one channel went out. Fixed that then the other channel went out.

I've been using mine for well over a year and a half.

During the early summer I put it over a 16 gallon frag tank tied to my main system. The entire bottom, two sides and back aren't encrusted in Coraline growth.

Sps is encrusting and growing well. I put in a frag rock and it's covered in Coraline growth.

I do not have it running at 100%, maybe 75%.

I have 2 over my 90gal. They are currently at 60% and I have coraline every where. My zoas are spreading and my torch is extending out very far. I am very happy with my growth rates. For instance in march I put in a 2x2 peice of gsp and now it is covering a volleyball size rock. My Blastos have doubled in 6 months. I have had them up for a little over a year.

By the way I have to say watch how high you turn up your lights. 50-70% is more then enough with these lights. I have seen more growth with lower light output as strang as that is to say. When I had these lights turned up to 80% + almost every coral stopped growth or they slowed down drastically.

Do you guys think one would be enough on this 60 gallon tank? See I was going to buy 2 awhile back when I was going to put them on my 90 gallon but never did. I dont want to buy 2 for this new tank if one will be enough.

One will be enough, but two would be ideal. You'll just have to aqua scape around it
