Hi guys, I thought I would show my build and introduce myself . I've been in this hobby for just a few months now. This is my second tank. My first one was a 6g Edge Nano that got me hooked on this hobby :hypnotyized:. Of course I filled that one up pretty quick. So I thought it was time to expand. I purchased the 65g DSA tank and started quickly on the stand and purchasing equipment. Here's a short list of what's running.
65 Gallon DSA Tank
Eshopps R100 Sump
Bubble Magus 5.5 NAC Skimmer
Sicce Syncra Silent 4.0 Pump (feeds reactors as well)
2x BRS Rectors (Carbon & GFO) Only carbon running at the moment
2x Cobalt Neotherm 100w heaters.
65lbs of dry rock and 60lbs live sand
2 AI Hydra's are on the way for lighting.
Still undecided on powerheads... Suggestions would be awesome :)
I also had to add a ball valve to the return pump, the 1" just doesnt keep up, I kept getting alot of gulping.
Now for photos...

Welcome to MAAST. Sounds like a nice build indeed. There are a lot of good, helpful people here too so don't hesitate if you have any questions. Now, lets see some pics!

Sorry for the poor pics. I tried uploading them and they said they were too large to upload strait from the PC.

Thanks guys. There's Neon/Allen Damsel in there. He's doing excellent, eating a whole lot. I have a pair of clowns and a bicolor blenny im looking to move over in a couple of weeks.

I'm getting ready to purchase my flow. I have decided on either 2 tunze 6045's or 1 6095. Would I benefit from 2 smaller pumps rather than 1 big pump?

One pro of running 2 instead of 1 is having the redundancy. If your one pump goes out out, no more sump flow, if one of your two pumps go out, you still have have your sump running. I have same tank and decided for Rio 1700's, very quiet and cheap pumps. Just my 2cents
