I'm planning an mp40 purchase sometime in the future. I'm toying with the ideas of buying a new unit or buying a used unit.

New.... can't beat having a full warranty on any expensive item.

Used... save some money

I've bought 2 mp products used, and several AI products used as well, I would say if you're going to this route, make sure it's someone you can trust that your getting it from. my Mp10 and 40 were bought from maast members that were good friends of mine and promised that they would be 100% working or I could take them back. Never buy an MP online as that's when you get the horror stories of bad controllers, noisy units, messed up mp40 dryside cover etc.. Also, purchasing units that still have a warrenty is also a good way to save some money and have good peace of mind.
