Day 1.

Dr. Pepper can for size reference.

9 watt power compact 50/50
Tahitian moon sand(black sand)

Nice little pico... I like the black sand in pico tanks. Do you plan to do something different with the light such as LED or goog to roll with the PC?

What's the stocking plans...anything unique?

The lighting will remain the same unless we see that the corals aren't thriving.

If it leads to new lighting, it'll most likely be an LED pendant.

As far as stocking, Donna (it's her tank) prefers soft corals. So zoanthids, mushrooms etc

Day 2:

We used water from an existing display. When the water cleared up, she added a few of the lessor corals to the new pico to see how things will progress

She really wants to have a refugium so now I am hunting through the internet looking for ideas on how to create a PICO overflow box & PICO sump :-)

We're gonna get creative with this one!

why dont you just run a aquaclear on it? how much water does she want for the fuge

She's decided to just keep it as it is. We 'll add on a larger nano later in 2014.
