puffer constipation?

i have a valentini puffer and just recently his belly sarted to look different. it looks like he isnt able to poop. and when he does poop its alot at a time. im not sure why this is happening but i wana help him. he swims around just fine all my params are amazing and all the fish and corals are as well. the lfs said half shell clams or skinned peas ive read. any advice would be very helpful

i know it sounds weird, but have you considered fishy type laxative? epsom salts are magnesium sulfate and are frequently used as a laxative in humans. i've used it before in an aquarium with success, but cannot remember how much i used. if you can find correct dosing info i think that may be just what you are looking for. Personally, if the fish is eating and pooping, i'd let it be.
