Refugium light. Cfl?

I was wondering if, for a refugium grow light, one of those spiral socket bulbs can be used in place of an incandescent. If so what's a good wattage or color temp?

I bought this one on eBay and my chaeto exploded w growth.... :) Its Quadrupled my chaeto in two months....:)
