Old sand is fine. I'm going to kill it anyway. Same with rock - I'm going to dry it out, so dry is fine. I don't want ANY pests in this tank.
Looking for about 30-40lbs of white sand, and maybe 100-150lbs of rock.
I'm in San Antonio, but drive all over town and we're in Corpus Christi most weekends.

I have a 5 gallon bucket of well rinsed Southdown if you can wait until the frag swap. I won't be in San Antonio until then.

Cory: NO!!!! BTW, I just ordered replacement tribase carbon for the Hiatt.
John: How much, and when can I pick it up?
Allan: I think I've got a handle on sand, but I'll let you know.

I have what was my old rock structure out of my tank. It's dried now. I also have some other misc football sized rocks. All dry. I'm guessing 30 lbs.
I'll be home most of the weekend. You heading to the coast this weekend?

Yes, headed down Friday at noonish. I'm not in a hurry - text me your address and the price, and I'll let you know when I can swing by and pick it up from your porch. I'll leave the cash under the mat!
