No, I haven't found one. I'm hoping you have and will be so generous as to tell me which one it is. Specifically, GFO in this case.

I have a few BRS. They work, but always clog; GFO and/or GAC. I've even cut holes in the top/bottom of the strainers. Still clogs.

I also have a IM MiniMax for biopellets, but not really sure if I want to buy another for GFO/GAC. The pump has given me some starting problems.

I've read a lot about the NextReef reactors, but I fear they will clog as well. Several people have recommended the TLF 150 over the BRS, but I have a TLF kalk reactor and it's junk (lightbulb: maybe I can rig this up for GFO). Sorry, that was my ADD kicking in....so, anybody have a reactor they stand by?

i ran a next reef with rowa phos for 2 months, just to see how long it would go. i had no issues, rowa phos never broke up and clogged up soonges like other gfo. my exhaust tube waa clean for once.

all reactors with sponges will eventually clog.

I've ran GFO in a nextreef and never had it clog. That sucks about your IM, I haven't had any pump issues but it's a smaller pump. I guess worst case you could put a better on it, right?

Yeah, I've been meaning to try and find a model that will fit. I was also going to contact IM about it, its only about 2 months old.

I got the pump to start outside of the tank, had it spinning dry, threw it into the IM body and stuck the thing under water as quickly as possible. Shot water straight up through the reactor body and into my face but it stayed running. And it actually started up the last few times I lost power here. *shrugh*

I'll probably end up with some NextReef. I always seem to come back to them so might as well try. Not really looking forward to having to change media on those though.
