Anyone have an extra impeller that would fit on a seaclone 100?

Is it the actual impeller that broke or just the drive shaft? I have a bunch of spare parts, but not really available today- at work and then surprise party for in laws tonight. Hope you find something. I have made a temp drive shaft out of a wire close hanger. If you don't find something, maybe we can work out something tomorrow.

Since you are a charter member, anything in the MAAST equipment library you could borrow? Just a thought.

couple of blades fell off the fan part of the impeller. More like half of the blades broke off.

Well, I started to hear a difference in the pump earlier today, so I unplugged it. Couldnt check it out due to a family function I had to attend. But got back, and took a look, sure enough lost a blade. SO I did some research on it, to see if it was something I was doing wrong. But apparently, the new maxi-jet 1200 impellars are pieces of crap. Read countless of stories where the blades break after running anywhere from 4 hours to 30 days.

Needless to say, I will be contacting marineland about this and see if they will replace it. Read a story, but is over a year old:

I called them just now and they told me a its a problem that has crept up in their one of their runs over the last few weeks. they are sending me shipping labels to send the broken one in as well as sending me me anew maxijet and spare impeller.

Here is the update:

Just got off the phone with their customer service, they are sending me a new impeller replacement, should be here in 5 - 7 business days. I also decided to ask, and told them bluntly that I did some research on this particular impeller that it seems to be a common thing that the blades break off, and wanted to know if there is a way to re-enforce them to make sure this does not happen again, they had reassured me that that Marineland has already taken care of that problem. So we shall see.

If this one ends up breaking I will take you up on that, just will have to figure out how to make it fit. According to what I read, the new one and the old one are not able to go together. Think I read somewhere where someone got an old impellar to work on the new pumps by shaving down the shaft. But yes, if this one ends up breaking like the other two, I will take you up on that offer.
