Bad Ballast

I believe my ballast is out for 250mh its a lumenarc. Is there a way to test it or figure out if there is something wrong with it. Also does any one have an 250w ballast there not using i can test my light with or that your selling thanks for the help.

Are you sure it is the ballast and not the bulb? SE or DE?

Se, yes tried 2 older bulbs same result..the ballast also seems to have a faint burn smell

If you want to overdrive your bulb, I have a geissman 250w hqi ballast you can use.
