View Full Version : Large Euro-Reef Protein Skimmer

I’m selling a large protein skimmer. It is a Euro-Reef CS 12-2. It is 12” in diameter and has 2 EHEIM 1262 Pumps. I think the Model number has changed to a CS400; it rated for a “350g with a "Heavy" bio-load: Up to 850g with a "Light" bio-load”

It is the same skimmer as the one pictured on this site: http://www.melevsreef.com/280g/280g_sump.html

It has been out of the box a few times, but never used. I bought it 2009 expecting to put together some big awesome aquarium. 4 yrs later, all I have is a big protein skimmer. So it's time to get rid of it. I am asking $850.00 OBO.

I’m in Corpus, but travel to San Antonio several times a month.

Yeah, i wish i had the money for this right now. This would be better than the massive Beckett skimmer i have for my plywood build. Great looking skimmer.

I was really tempted but RLSS finally got my skimmer working. I still almost bought it and sold the RLSS. It's a great deal and I'm surprised it hasn't been snatched up yet!

Fair enough. I am surprised. I'm almost tempted to buy it for the deal and the hopes of having a beast tank some day.

Skimmer is still up for sale and down to $500 if anyone is interested. Also considering parting out the pumps. They have never been used.
