Super glue it to a small piece of rubble. Place it in low flow and low light and it will perk up in no time.

Don't super glue the ric. You will ruin its foot and it will die. Just put it somewhere it won't be blown around and let it attach itself.

No you have a ricordia mushroom. It's perfect for a beginner. All it needs to grow is your light. Keep it and you did not overpay by the way. Just don't superglue him. If you have to you can put it on a rock and wrap some string around the rock and ricordia to hold it is place until it decides to set its foot down.

I typically use a rubber band 'loosely' holding it against an object. You can also use a rubble rock bin which will keep it out of the flow and still under the light.... then once it's attached to some rubble, you can glue the rock to another rock or wedge it into a small crevasse.

Dang sorry for posting the wrong info. I saw a youtuber gluing them so I did 3 of mine. Man I hope they don't die. :(

They more then likely will release a mucus and become loose from the glue. That is if they want to move.

If there is a base of rubble or sand or anything attached to the foot I will glue them. If there is nothing on the base then I typically put them in a small Rubbermaid or plastic container with several holes drilled in it and place lots of rubble or small pieces in the container.

Two were attached to a tiny piece of shell the other wasn't. They have been glued for a little over two weeks and look like they did before so maybe I will be lucky.
