Thank You, will be setting up today. Is it true that pellets should soaked in RO/DI water for 24 hours prior to use?

i never soak mine, after a few hours shut pump down and shake the reactor and the ones floating should drop.

soak them unless you wanna do the shake:bigsmile:

get that bacteria stuff Chris gets too, Ive been running mine for a while, did not get that bacteria stuff, no nitrate reduction yet on mine

test your nitrates before and after use and keep posting to see how it works for you

That's what I used to seed mine too. Still waiting for a drop in N, only been 5 weeks though.
