I use my dremel...fast, easy, and clean cutting!

I'm a barbarian, I guess. I get a moderately heavy screwdriver and pry through a couple squares... Then I slam it up and down and the offending pieces just break away.
After I just slide the screwdriver across the new edge which clips the little jagged points. Never thought about using a dremel, but it would probably make this portion a lot smoother. Of course I don't use egg crate anywhere where a very clean edge is necessary.
