I’m selling my Hobbico Nexstar Trainer Nitro Airplane. I no longer have time or room for this plane. It’s been in storage for some time and hasn’t been run in about 2 years. It will come with a bunch of extras that didn’t originally come with the plane. This is a plane that a lot of hobbyists start with when they start to fly because of the ease of us.
I’m selling it for $200 (Price Marked down from $225). I will consider offers. I will deliver if near San Antonio area, or we can make other arrangements. The list price is $440 new with plane and remote only.
All servos work and are currently charged up. The engine ran perfect last time it was flown. All the plane needs is a little tune-up, some gas, and its ready to fly.
You will receive the following:
Obviously you will receive the plane
Remote control with charger
2 glow plug igniters with charger
Spare glow plug
Electronic fuel filler as well as a manual one
Tool carrying case. Also serves as the airplane holder.
Electronic torque starter. This is what you use to start the propeller verses using your hand (so you can keep your fingers intact)
Replacement propeller spinner
Fuel can fittings
Torque master battery. This is what powers the starter, charges glow plug chargers, fuels the plane, etc…
There are a few flaws. Some of the decals over time have just come off, and a few minor punctures in the wing which can be fixed with some tape. It doesn’t hurt the dynamics. Also the Amp reading on the carrying case doesnt work.

Balsa and plywood construction.
Factory-installed O.S® Max 46AX engine includes a High-Speed Needle Valve extender/limiter to prevent the engine from running too lean.
Futaba® 4YBF 4-channel FM radio system with micro square trainer port.
Active Flight Stabilization™ (AFS) sensors detect any change from level flight, automatically correcting roll and pitch to return the NexSTAR to true horizontal. As long as you move the sticks, you're in control. But when you don't know what to do, all you have to do is release the sticks and let the AFS come to the rescue!
CenterCore™ molded composite main wing rib maintains perfect alignment. Wing halves are joined with a steel rod. A built-in aileron servo mount is included.
Wings feature a flat-bottom, high-mount configuration.
Custom one-piece, all-wood precision airfoil improves efficiency and lift for greater stability at all speeds.
SpinControl™ airfoil extensions are proven "wing droops" that provide lift even during a stall, keeping the NexSTAR level and you in control.
Flexible PivotFlex™ wing mount gives in the event of a mishap, yet it holds in place using just one bolt.
SpeedBrakes™ training flaps hold airspeed to a minimum, giving you more time to think and react. Smooth landings are ensured.
IsoSmooth™ engine mount reduces engine noise and damaging vibration.
Easy Align™ tail mounting system guides parts into place automatically, producing a strong, straight tail.
Snap Gear™ quick landing gear mounts install in 3 seconds, locking in place with a snap. The strongest landing gear you'll find on any R/C trainer!
Polyester-based white and red (with silver accents) heat shrink film covering.
