Hi,
I just wanted to say, "hi" and get some advice. My initial inclination is to start over pretty much from scratch, but as a number of people tell me that I should be more cost conscious. So I am looking to see what I can cobble together with some left overs from when I last left the hobby. So I was trying to figure out if there is a way to piece these random things together to make one system.
I think I have attached some pictures of the 4 tanks that I can work with. The 3 that I think are meaningful and 1 that I can use as a holding tank or quarantine.
there are 2 identical acrylic tanks that I have never used before that I picked up used they are 36"X17.5"X15.5" divided into 3 sections - the tank is drilled to drain out of the back of the center compartment and return in the 2 outside compartments.
The other is a glass tank that has pretty odd dimensions - roughly 30"X17"X15"
I like the idea of using the glass tank as a display, but it isn't drilled and would necessitate the use of an overflow or much help drilling the back of it. I would love to have one large steel rack that would house all of it with a common sump at the bottom, but I have no clue as to how I would make it all work.
Any ideas are much appreciated,
