As promised, here are the pictures of my 210 gallon tank. It's 7'x2'x2' on a 46" tall stand. Again, a HUGE thank you to the guys that came by and helped me heft this thing up onto the stand.

If you are uploading them to the site you will have to resize them.

I like this one, just right click and choose 'resize images' and a popup will let you batch resize the selected files. I normally resize to around 1024x768.

Picking this thing up onto the 46" stand was MUCH easier with 5 guys :) 2185921860 Now on to the cleaning and plumbing.

Getting water in on the sand. Aquascaping will probably be tomorrow. The RODI continues to pump :) 2186121862

Haha, the good ol 200+ gallon RODI wait. I let mine run over night, pretty sure I woke up every hour to check on it.

It's looking good. You might have mentioned in your other thread, but I forgot....what are your plans for this tank?

i have a large sailfish tang, harlequin tusk, magnificent fox face and tomato clown waiting for me at the Lfs from my last tank. Gotta get them back first, then go from there. Not sure exactly what I want for livestock yet.
The Rodi is a 150gpd unit, so the wait isn't really that bad....I'm waiting now because I want to aquascape before I add any more, and I'm not off until Wednesday to do it...lol

looks good!
thanks! More pics when I can :-)

Rock is in place in the tank. Now we'll see what it looks like once the cloud settles...lol

Okay, now waiting on more water. In the meantime, lets talk stocking. My current fish (being fish-sat at Polly's in Universal City) include a 6" sailfin tang, 6" magnificent foxface, 5ish" harlequin tusk, and 3" tomato clown (big fatty too!). As far as future stock, I know that I would like a large angel (not sure which species yet...but they're all gorgeous!). As far a keeping it clean, starfish and gobys and/or goatfish. What other fish would you all recommend as tankmates? I was considering a trigger, but have read horror stories of triggers in less than aggressive tanks. I'm also planning a small school of chromis or something like that. Any others that play well? TIA

Ok, water is to the top of the tank and almost filled the overflows. One more Brute and the whole system should be running....going to be a LONG four hours...lol

Well, got it filled last night and turned the pumps off. Ugh, one of the pumps blew the tubing off and sprayed water under the cabinet, shorted out a sump light and stank up the whole room of fire :-(
Got that fixed, and my overflow plumbing had a small drip. Shut it off for the night, and I'll work on it some more after work. *sigh*

you must have a big pump over there. are you running a manifold or just return?

klwheat

Just a return. Not that big a pump, it was a problem with the line. Had WAY too much slack on the 1" line and it was hanging and pulling itself off the pump barb.

Finally have it up and running...complete with fish :)
I still have one bulkhead to replace for one of the returns, but it's running with a pump hooked up to only 1 return right now with the powerheads for flow.
Added the fish back in yesterday and everything looks great. I have a large puffer to pick up Tuesday from Elegant Reef (it is BIG!) and a list of others I want in the future. But for now, just enjoying the "sunset" in my tank tonight :)
