I had two of those running on my 92 corner. No complaints about them. They work great.

I'm thinking about ditching my BRS reactors for a pair of these to run GFO/GAC. I've heard nothing but good things about them.

I had a dual brs reactor and gave it away when I sold my old tank, seems no matter what I did, just never got good water flow. The Nextreef MR1 comes w 1/2" hose which means for a lot more water flow and great tumbling action, just was easy to set-up too.... Really Happy, will probably get another to run bio-pellets w :)

The problem with BRS reactors is the media containers. The top and bottom strainers get clogged too easily and prevent adequate flow. Mine always worked well when I started them or after a good cleaning. They just eventually clogged up and didn't run well. I have one running carbon right now that I cut bigger slots in the strainer and used sponges with the media. I'm hoping this prevent it from clogging up so easily.

I'm still buying at least 1 MR1 though.
