Thanks, Lucky. I have been painting on and off since I was young. I did it full-time for awhile, before I was married, but the "starving artist" gig got old quick.

I grew up in Hawaii (Pearl City, Oahu) Seal Beach, Cali and Virginia Beach ,Virginia. I was never landlocked or without an ocean until I came to Texas for college. I am homesick bad for the water. Unfortunately I am also stuck here. I try to get "home" some but it's not nearly enough.

I know, yeah. This is the longest I have ever gone without a tan in the summer. Too hot with no water.

I'm actually making my "woman cave" in the new house a beach themed room to help. If I don't do something to help, I may just tell my husband he can visit me and the kid back in VA where all my family is. My sisters house is 3 miles from the oceanfront
