I believe since we all sell things on here from time to time we are all vendors. Ive have made a few deals with this guy and all have been horrible. First experience was on a rock i sent many pics of and lots of back and forth on price before settling on a price. two weeks goes by of nothing but ignored text or responses and never showing up. when he finally does show up im not home but Emily agreed to help, he shows up and wants to haggle prices more. a few other coral sales with him turn out the same way, he either doesnt show up or respond or wants a better deal when he does. i have heard the same stories many times from other members including new members and wanted to warn others so they have heads up.

I've a had a similar experience with this guy. Definitely shouldn't hold your breath when dealing with this guy. And he has more excuses then an addict in rehab caught with contraband.

Yup, He bought my tank 2 different times and never paid, paid deposit through PayPal to hold it for weeks and then retracted his deposit.. Fool me once, fool me twice. Sure he's a good guy but be warned

had the same no show happen a long time ago (over a year ago) with him, but recently things were different.

he bought the 29 gallon biocube i had for sale without asking for a better price. he then told me he really only needed the stand and canopy and gave me the tank back when i told him that my sister would love to have it for a fresh water setup. he also bought a koralia pump.

next, he had me build him a sump and was very prompt in picking it up, also buying a gorgonian at the time without any price haggling.

he also bought a blasto frag from me without incident.

i would not hesitate to do business with him again.

Only one run in with him......

he came over to buy some frags and he did with no incident....

Was a little presistant on buying the rest that were being held for other members and i should of just let him buy them as they were either no shows or took a few days to get over.....

Jesse and I just did a trade this week, without incident. We traded my miniatus for a mushroom rock and some cash. While negotiating I told him $10-15 and when we met up (again without incident) he brought me $15, which seemed fair. We talked fish for a few minutes and he was very friendly and nice. I wouldn't hesitate to trade with him again.

I believe I was waiting for him couple times never showed up and more over he won't answer text or phone calls either at that time .

Things happen no big deal if no show up but at least answer phone calls or text and let the person know don't wait for me . I think that's not good

Okay... As for Big Pun and King as well as the Wolfeman! I have had nothing but hassles with you three guys since the beginning of becoming a member! As for doing business with you all....!! Na! I much rather go to respectable, credible members.. I treat people as they would like to be treated. It seems "some members" like to harass others on every post. I work in the Oilfield and out two weeks at a time so at times I may not be able to respond to texts or be as prompt as "some" may want me to be. I have found some really great people here on MAAST but then again there are some immature "ones" that I much rather stay away from. As for some deals that I fall through on... I am serious about my posts.. At times I may not have time to pick up as one might want me to. I have two wonderful boys that are very active in sports and I'm gone half of the month. I LOVE the hobby but at times other things take priority

first i hear an excuse as well as others im sure. dont you dare call us unrepeatable all if us are stand up and go above and beyond for any members for help. i can give you a list of people who i have purchased and who have purchased things from me that are a happy. your problem is you play the victim, you think our time isn't as valuable as yours, many of us have set aside a scheduled time, out our busy days to accommodate time for you. but you cant even send a text call leave a message and let us know your backing out. ive heard the same stories about you from many other members besides the ones that have posted, you even made arrangements with a member to move her into her new house, with your lil moving buisness, only to leave her in limbo for weeks and not respond only when they found someone else(good business ethics) and you call us disrespectful. i still gave you a chance on that red carpet($150 for a nem that usually goes for $400) and you didnt get back to me.

Lets calm down before this gets out of hand.

I'm not sure how I feel about this topic, but i do know that I don't want this to be a back and forth argument between two members.

I wasn't going to post because I think this is setting a bad image and don't entirely agree with it. But you stood sherita up on a buy and I took your tang and corals back to my house and held onto them for her and you. I contacted you multiple times to pick them up or I'd have to sell them to give sherita her money. I even offered to hold them longer because of your schedule as long as you paypal'd sherita the money. You disappeared and didn't resurface until I posted the tang and corals for sale telling me you still want them. And I AGAIN gave you the opportunity to pay sherita for them. And didn't follow through. I don't know what I ever did to deserve that. And I'm sure I don't "want to be treated that way". I have never spoken ill of you until now.

I'm sorry you've had bad experiences with MAAST and some of its members. For the most part there are great people on here. Chris is rough around the edges and we have butt heads before but he will go out of his way for a fellow MAASTard. I forgive easily and move on. Hopefully we can all move past this. And ask all parties in this thread to remember. This is supposed to be fun.

I've known Wabbegong for some time and had many dealings with him. I find him to be an outstanding guy, but a busy guy! Yes I've had issues trying to get in contact with him regarding a purchase or whatever, but that's the nature of his work. At first I didn't understand his schedule and how demanding his work was, and yes it was frustrating. It wasn't until recently after speaking with him, that he works in areas that are not within cel phone reach and his job is very labor intensive. We have to be understanding that not everyone works at an aquatic store full or part time, that there is life outside of the hobby that might occupy our time. I'd be pressed to see if you discussed your issues with Wabbegong in person to find out the issue, or is this how you communicate issues by blasting people on a forum? It's a shame that this forum for the hobbyist has turned into a bad case of immature chatter and verbal harassment. Lets get back to discussing the love of the hobby on this forum!

This topic is done. The mod team is discussing what course of action (if any) to take with this thread. A feedback thread is one thing, being an Internet tough guy and name calling is another.
