We have a 4-5" miniatus grouper. He is very nice looking (vibrant red and blue), super healthy, and eats great. He is feisty and would need to be with tank mates who are of a similar disposition. He mainly had a problem with fish of a similar color/shape as him. He is a special fish and I would like him to go to a good home, but if I don't get any interest, I will take him to the LFS. He is currently hanging out in the fish's small summer quarters (20g long quarantine tank), which is too small for him. He will be okay for a few days, but probably needs to move on soon.

I will try to take some photos tomorrow once the lights are on. I would like $50 obo and would certainly be interested in working out a coral trade, just let me know what you have. Thanks.

I was considering it, but I already have a panther. Is he a piggy like mine?

Oh yes, he is a stealth eater, watching everything and swooping in to steal the big pieces. Man is he fast. I feed pretty heavily and he eats a lot, often more than his share (although my other guys eat great too). He has grown nearly double in size and filled out, so is nice and thick.

Ha. Yep. I have to distract mine with food on the other side of the tank while I stick feed the shark and eel or he'll swoop in and steal every last bite.
