So whats the Best way to treat ich in a tank thats reef safe for my corals?

Focus and metro mixed with the food. This was the only thing that completely got rid of a 6 month outbreak I had last year.

I used "Herbanta" by Herbal Actives. Reef safe and worked quickly! I bought it at Texas Tropical. Only $10 for bottle! Good luck!

I've used Ich Attack. Also all natural and reef safe. Works really well and really quick!! I think it's $14 at aquarium designs for a BIG bottle

Where do you get the focus and metro? Or is it fairly commonly carried by the LFS?

We have a sticky on Ich.

Personally, my choice is feed well, keep stress down, and let it run it's course.

After 6 months of that and losing way to many fish I switched to the focus and metro. If you let it run it's course it could take up to a year before the ich goes away. I'd like to add that within 2 months of using the antibiotics I was able to add new fish.

For those of you who used the metro and focus, did you mix it with the food or treat the whole tank as well?

I mixed it with the food but I had my fish in QT and did not treat the whole tank cause I have shrimp hermits and stars in my tank
