Ok so, I'm setting up my old tank. I cleaned it out, but needed to reseal it. I stripped it, taped it and TRIED to put the black silicone in. Result - Terrible! The tank is on its 36" stand and it is 28" high so I have trouble reaching the bottom -I'm 5'5". I need to take it off the stand, so it can be more accessible. I need the suction cups and the tank dolly(?). Also, if anyone has ANY experience with black silicone, I would appreciate any tips. This is the main obstacle keeping me from having my piece little piece of sea heaven.
Thanks,
Adriana

It would be hard to move the tank if you removed the seal already, applying black silicone should be the same as clear silicone. How big is your tank? when do you wanna move it if it even possible to move?

Yes, its the same tank. It is only the seal on the inside. The tank is still whole. I removed the previous silicone for esthetic reasons-it was "eaten up" or wasted from cleaning.

When I do reseals I lay an even small bead...then right before I "pull" the bead with my finger I lick my finger and get it a lil wet.....it slides right up and leaves a clean bead. Pull from the botrom to the top..
