"New and Improved" 375g In-Wall Build

Well got the tank moved in wall. Now it is cycling and going through a small algae bloom. Not to much to see yet. I put in new sand and rock so that is being seeded by some "prime" liverock I got from a fellow maast member. I just need to do a little plumbing work cause every so often I get a burp out of my durso and get the wood skinned over the metal stand. Im still using my old reef octopus skimmer and now just one sicce 5.0 pump. I ordered some tunze powerheads that should be in next week. Oh and I am finally all LED atm with the radion gen 2's. The tank is now a little harder to maintain so I will be doing zoas, euphyllia(instead of nems) and some of my old chalices but NO sps anymore. lol

Anyways that's where I sit at the moment just waiting for these diatoms to finish their cycle.

i asked him the same thing the other day when he came by lol. he has about 1-2 inches of room on the sides of the tank no room in the back either, tank fits snug in its spot

Yep I don't have room for vortechs. This is a very tight squeeze.

This is it as of now before the wood work. I went with the rock wall approach this time as I will have a lot more fish and needed more hiding spaces while maximizing swimming room for anthias, wrasses and tangs. Turned out better than I thought it would I left a couple spot more open for larger euphyllia.

Well small update. Been adding some fish and some tester corals. So far so good. I think I'm battling a small case of bryopisis. I need to check it out a little more before I diagnose it for sure though. Gonna throw some turbo snails at it this weekend and if that doesn't work going to get tech m to finish it off. I had my first mistake with my autofeeder. I Didn't test it to see how much food it was releasing and it dumped a ton so I ended up with diatoms again. Lol
I placed a huge fish order with Louis so once the qt is over I'll be nearly stocked. Just have a few wrasses to get after this I think. Next will be stocking it with zoas and euphyllia!

Oh I also added my stock list to the front page so I can keep track of my fish/coral. :)

Ps if anyone knows a good carpenter we need to get this thing skinned. Please pm me with suggestions.

Got new anthias, chromis, tangs and a butterfly today! Oh and a starry blenny. :)

Lights are off now but I'll try and snap some shots with my hero cam tomorrow.
