I want to do something different with the 120g tank and how the rock formation is.... however, I am not artistic and can't figure out what to do. I am going to do a mixed reef setup but do not want to add as much rock as I have in the past. I want something that looks different but supports coral growth. Not much information to go by but give me some ideas please. I can drill the rocks and all that.... I am thinking of growing the back wall with green star polyps too

Also, I am not worried about LR as filtration since I already have that covered by other equipment

Think bonsai without going overboard.

In nature these reefs are like little plateaus, little islands. Even the rock walls that line the deeper parts of the reefs are large rocks with caves with jutting pieces that travel down into the deep.

Of course the "rock" is usually large coral colonies.

I struggled with this when I was planning out my tank. If you'd like, let's setup a day and time and you can see what can be done with rock.

As far as a "type" of aqua scape, I researched and researched looking at tanks online and locally to form an idea of what I liked.

I would be highly interested in that. I have everything to get the tank running.
