I noticed in the new Coral Magazine yesterday that Thrive Aquatics has come out with a water lab that can test 13 parameters in our tanks. I'm used to the old school way of testing. I wonder how acuratley this thing will be? We all know our tanks personality and I can tell right away what could be wrong. Either way it will be cool to check out and see for myself how accurate it really is.

Check it out:

this has been published for a while, it was pushed back as production has been slow and working out bugs. also i believe its ver expensive for lfs so prob wont see one locally anytime soon.

Actually Steven is getting one at the Polly's NB as soon as it becomes available.

I figured Polly's would since they carry the Thrive Products. I was just at the NB location on Tuesday.

That would be awesome, something I would not use monthly but once a year it would be nice to know where everything is at in my tank.

+1 on Polly's I was talking to Steven about this months ago and they're on a waiting list. I can't wait!

Ya I'm excited too! I was trying to figure out if this was a free service for establishments that purchase the machine, or if its a charge?

I would think it's going to be free. They setup the machine and it tells you that you need to buy XYZ Thrive product. If they do charge for it, I couldn't see it being really expensive since a lot of LFS's will already test your water for free. The biggest thing I'm concerned with is accuracy. Steven told me it will update your Thrive profile on the webbernets each time you use it. That's pretty cool and innovative. I really hope it's accurate!
