For those of you with SPS/LPS what size pump do you have in your tank for flow. I was thinking of getting something with 240gph like the hydor koralia nano circulation pump/powerhead. Would this work for SPS/LPS as far as flow?

Depends on what size tank you are running. what's the footprint of your tank?
I have a 125 and run two evo 1040gph, which I think may still be underpowered due to some dead spots I have on the sand bed.

In my RED SEA MAX 130D 34 gallon tank I use a Hydor Koralia 1 powerhead. It puts out 400gph. My entire tank is corals from top to bottom. Provides good flow, but probably going to throw back in a wavemaker. I have corals of all kind, mainly LPS...no issues!

In my 150 I have a big tunze wavebox and a single return nozzle from an unknown sump pump and in the 8 gallon evolve I use the stock pump at half speed. No issue at all with growing large healthy sps and lps even though my flow is low by reef standards.

14 gallon biocube LED's. My softies are doing great so far but have been wanting to try LPS/SPS but know my flow isn't strong enough with just the stock pump. I was looking to upgrade that and add a circulation pump to add more flow since everything I read on LPS/SPS is moderate to high flow.

I also am running a tunze wave box and a korolia 1050 in my 90gal and there are no dead spots.

I'm running a Reeflo snapper cranked down a bit by a ball valve for my return. A Sicce 5.0 running my closed loop split into 3 nozzles. I'm also running the Tunze 6215 wave box.

Shoot... I have five evo 1400 and a sicce 4 for my return.
Sporadically, I use a wavebox during feeding and a koralia 8 magnum (I think) to increase flow.
If you have lps... You just need to keep an eye one them. If the flow is too much, or directly on them, their skeleton will cut into their flesh. Additionally, I've had direct flow peel back the tissue on an sps colony I had back in the day.
You want to keep your peepers open for areas in your tank where sediment accumulates or cyano takes hold. I've got such areas in my 210.
It's really a lot of tinkering to get it right, and if you're heavy in both sps and lps, you've got your work cut out for you.

I'm running two MP10's plus the 400+gph return pump on my nuvo 38. I'm planning on going SPS dominant so I want a lot of flow. I currently have not dialed back.

I bought a koralia 425 gph and have had it running about two weeks going on three and I love this thing. Its in a 14g biocube with a couple of zoas/plathoas, shrooms, LPS and SPS and all seems to be growing good. No dead spots what so ever in thank and its not to much flow.

LOL, yes, I overdid it slightly. I'm running each one at about 50% and everything still blows around pretty good. I might go down to one and see what happens. One thing that is nice is food stays in suspension everywhere in my tank and there's no dead spots really. The aquascape helps with this a great deal too though.
