Who's got one. I recently purchased this one and its been a pain setting up. I leaked around the motor, so I had to silicone it to make it leak proof. Set it up yesterday and then it back flowed back into my auto-top off water. Checked the set-up diagram and its missing the check valve at top, its in the mail.... Do any forum members have one? If so what model, pro's and cons.... Would great appreciate feedback! :)

I have the TLF one. Not very good, I think it's biggest fault is the stirring 'sprinkler head' doesn't work much if any at all. Doesn't allow the kalk to saturate and I place most of the blame for my low alk on that when I tried switching to kalk.

sergio there is a check valve on it it the 1/4 quick disconnect coupler with red connection on one side it will have an arrow on it pointing flow direction.

also your line that feeds the reactor should go to the bottom that way fresh water is pumped to bottom pushing saturated water out the top fitting that feeds the sump

I also run the TLF reactor and I noticed if I use the recommended amount of kalk for my tank it's too much for the reactor to handle and the stirer dosen't work properly. I use about 1 cup of kalk, with that amount the stirrer works perfectly and it pushes out saturated kalk water just fine.

Hey Chris! Then the check valve isn't working because it all back flowed in my RO/DI top off water. I ordered a new one. Also the line that feeds the reactor should go to the bottom that way fresh water is pumped to bottom pushing saturated water out the top fitting that feeds the sum, but wont this we accomplished by the mixing pump? It sucked up all mu kalk from the bottom into my water... Thank You for your response! :)

The mixing pump just saturates the water and keeps the kalk stirred. Chris is correct, you connect your ATO pump to the bottom connection and the top connection feeds your tank. I had that exact stirrer for a while and it worked great for me. You'll want to put that pump on a timer though, you don't want to run it all the time. I think I had mine come on a few times a day.

So how low from the bottom should I go on the line that feeds reactor?
