Hey guys, so as you may or may not know, my tank has been RAVAGED by either ich or velvet. I say either because on some fish it showed up as spots, yet on the clowns it appeared to be more of a dusting.. either way, currently I have my six line and molly in a QT tank with a high temp 82F and copper, however, neither of them have shown ANY signs of ich/ velvet during the entire duration of my issues. They are both eating fine and not flashing. My question to you guys is how do you know when a fish has beaten ich, or when do you guys stop treatment? I know scientifically, you can get a gill fluke sample and look at it under a microscope to check for signs of a parasite, but I'm not going to do that and I don't think any of us would either.

Would that even be possible? I talked to Steven at polly's and he said Wrasse's are very resilliant to the disease but I'm still a bit suspicious.

My 6 line introduced a horrible case last year which infected most of my fish. Took several months to get rid of it completely. The only surefire way I knew it was gone was when I was able to add new fish that stayed spot free. Even after the last fish cleared up I still had to wait a few months.
