14 gallon biocube power wire really hot

One of my lights wont come on and not sure why ballast work pc end works not sure what it could be. Just felt power wire and it is hot could it be a short or wire gave out? any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bad ballast I have some extra parts for that biocube u can have them

I checked ballast and they both work. could it be the wiring from canopy. I dont mind ducati996 ill send u a pm and thank you

What about the bulb? Did u test it?

yes bulbs work but only from one plug the side where the power switch is at is the one that doesnt work I pluged and unpluged to see and its just the power for the bulbs because everything else works fine
