So I picked this aquarium up from Mr. Cob a few months ago. After some hard work and a few mistrials, I think I finally got there. About the aquarium. It's an Innovative Marine Micro 30 gallon all-in-one. I added the IM protein skimmer, a refugium on one side of the drain, a LED refugium light, a Nano Tunze auto top off with 7 gallon container, Ecotech Marine Radion Gen 2 with hanging kit, and Digital Aquatic Reef Keeper Lite. My livestock includes 1 clown fish, 2 pajama cardinals, 1 coral beauty, and a dotty back (I think). My corals are a frogspawn(about 40 heads), kenya tree, 2 cocoworms, xenia, a few green mushrooms, red mushrooms, bluish mushrooms, a duncan( about 50 heads), colt coral(think that’s the name), green candy cane, and a few zoas and other coral I don't know the name to. I really like the outcome and wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for looking.

Is it normal to dislike my own tank after seeing so many awesome tanks on here? haha looks very nice, love the mods too. Are you running any media filter in back?

nice all you need is a mp-10 to finish it off lol. where did you install the float valve for the nano ATO?

I don't know Chris... The stock return on this thing is awesome...unlike any of the other all in one systems out there, an mp10 would just clutter the clean viewing area. It really isn't needed either, the flow is awesome on these IM tanks, I was very impressed.

Yeah was thinking about installing a mp10 or similar, but Mr. Cob changed my mind with the flow rate. This pump is small but is not lacking power or flow. I forgot to mention that I installed a IM spin stream. Gives a better wave like flow and worked perfect. Big_Pun I installed the float valve in the center section, where the return pump is. I will post a picture later. Thanks for input and comments everyone.

No media right now. Was thinking of going with Innovative Marine's Minimax all in one media reactor. Can someone explain to me the difference between gfo, carbon, and bio pellets?

Gfo removes phosphates

Bio pellets remove nitrates (needs to haw a skimmer to run this)

Carbon takes out toxins chlorine and polishes water

Great Aquarium

If you are good about water changes you can eliminate having to have several different medias. I do weekly water changes and my live stock does great. At this point I am actually only running a reactor with BRS carbon. No GFO or Bio Pellets. With that said each of us have their own success with the methods we choose.

my thoughts and experiences.... Emily has a 27g cube with a cpr hang on back fuge, radion and a mp-10. she runs brightwells lil cube media just tossed in intake area. she uses the xport-bio, xport-no3, xport-po4 and they work well for her tank. there is also cheato in the fuge but no skimmer on her system
