I bought a package lot of pumps and heads that came with a skimmer. I was after the skimmer and will turn the other items out. Unfortunately my newness has shown, the skimmer is a hang on tank Excalibur model, not my first choice but I own it now. Can I convert this to an on sump skimmer? Any help is apreciated.

A pic might help out. I'm not familiar with that skimmer, but many times a HOB can be used in sump. Snap a photo and maybe we can help.

That is the one! My collection chamber looks a little different but otherwise just like that one.
Tank size for that skimmer?
It all came in today, I am going to post the extra items I do not need.

I believe they retail for $200 and claim to be for tanks up to 150 gallons. Actual rating I have no idea...
