I finally started shaving the black silicone today. Procrastination :blushing:I will post before and after pics later.

I also wanted to give a facelift to my stand. It is an oceanic black stand that has seen better days. I wanted to paint over the existing paint - mostly on the inside and some touch ups on the outside.
What type of paint do I use? I have no idea
Thanks,
Adriana

I'd give it a few really good coats of primer (killz) before painting. If you don't, your new paint might chip or peel off. You'll need to use an acrylic paint (oil based) since it's going to get wet from time to time. Spray paint will also work but It'd require quite a few cans I would think.
