what sand do you have in your tank?

I don't know what type of sand to use. I like the look of fine sand -Oolite(used it before) and Fiji but I also like the special grade sand because it does not blow as easily.
What type of sand do you use, and why? If you have pics even better.:bigsmile:

I used Caribsea sea floor special. It's a great sand for me. Small enough for my diamond goby and big enough that it blow around.

I find that my diamond doesn't complain. Lol. He's my sand janitor.

special reef grade, I vacuum it with ease. wrasses like it also

I have the special sand that I never have to clean. J/k I have no room for vacuum so I put a fork on the end of a stick to clean it. Carribean sand

I use fiji pink in all my tanks, love the stuff. I've tried the petco sugar sand but I find for whatever reason it clumps into wierd masses over time.. not buying that again.

Depends on how deep you want it. If your shooting for 1-1.5" sand bed, definitely. I used 120lbs on a 60"x30" and had plenty
