I just recently purchased 100 dwarf cerith snails from this company. I would have to say i was completely Shocked when i picked up the package from the doorstep and there was litteraly No weight to it! First thought "ummm water leak?"... nope. Box was perfectly dry and intact (amazing for usps). Second thought after i began opening "ummm no water in bag. omg did i hit snail Shells on accident!?!?".... nope. I absolutely Never thought of snails being shipped out of water with a dripping wet paper towel... but wait, yeah you can actually Do that. ok wheew. hrmm i seem to have hit Dwarf and not Reg., but ok not an issue. read the little instruction manual thinking.. "WTFudruckers... how do i acclimate... oh says Right here!" Right-on i can do this. 2 days later i'm thinking "hrmm looks like about 1/4 of them are dead or empty shells. that sux." read the REST of the little paper this time to find that yeah they go dormant for up to 3-4 days and will come around. and so they did! most of them. i say i counted maybe 20 empty shells on day 4. Day 6... "think i'm going to TRY to count these guys up. see whats up for sure." seriously snails that are about 3/16 inch long on the small side are hard to count! MMhmmm... well i am quite surprised to have counted over 100 live snails on just one side of my tank. i never went to the other side to count more as i figured roughly 200-ish snails LIVE in my tank!
