What is it? The REEF BUDDY - Coral Caddy, is a simple and affordable solution for transporting, shipping and acclimating small fish and coral. The product utilizes a classic water bottle modded with a center pole and shelves to stagger coral frags. The frag plugs sit securely and prevent tumbling, great for delicate SPS.

ACCLIMATION USE:
1) Float the REEF BUDDY in a bucket with tank water for 15 minutes to acclimate temp.
2) Open nozzle tip and squeeze REEF BUDDY to let H2O escape, then release to let tank H2O enter.
3) Repeat step 2 every 5 minutes until you feel enough H2O has transfered to acclimate your coral and fish.

A+ this is a great product. Wife, LadyRedneck, was carrying a couple bags at the frag swap. She purchased this item at the frag swap and got rid of the bags. No more bags. She had several frags in there and the ring would hold the frag plug in place. Choose your color. Wife also mentioned it was really cool because it fits in a cup holder while your driving.
I should mention that she bought the pink one. I may have to get another color.:bigsmile:

Shane, right on man. We will consider the fact that the REEF BUDDY fits in a cup holder when manufacturing it. We were planning on making them larger but glad you pointed that detail out.

I packed a few fish yesterday in the REEF BUDDY along with a frag plug. Worked out nicely, I think. Pulled two shelves out, put the frag in on a bottom shelf and then fish in. Added a bag buddy oxygen tab for the fish and bam. No worries about a bag...and when you get home...super easy acclimation for the fish and coral utilizing the bottle's nozzle.

We have more in stock in all colors. Let me know if anyone wants one.

My sweet BBQHILLBILLy is correct I love love love the Reef Buddy in PINK. Lol. Will u be making it in a larger size? So it will hold more? I like how easy it was to accumilate my new frags. But the labels started to come off. I can't wait to use it again. Next pay day shopping for me for frags.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes we will make a larger version at some point.

Thank you for the info on the labels, we will see about using a better quality and will allow a free swap out once we make some new ones.
