After over 3 months of getting it ready via cycling the live rock and getting everything I need to make this blast off, here it is. And man I can honestly say moving into this tank has added a ton of depth and hight. I know it is only 6 inches more but holy cow you can do a lot with that. Sorry my iphone takes poor pics.
Im going to start from when I got the tank until now.

90s are cool. lots of room. Lots of LR. Nice setup with the LEDs. Which LEDs did you go with?

These are the Chinese imports. The ones similar to what was being sold earlier on here. They look great so far but time will tell if they were worth it.

My lord yes I'm very glad this move is over. Lol just now my back is pulled so bad that it hurts to stand lol but some rest and I'll be better. But thank you very much. Now I've got to get some corals from the frag swap here in 2 weeks.

Ok fellas and ladies I need your advise. I have a ton of green algae on the glass which personally I feel is good this early in the aquarium but I have a problem. I have a TON of bubbles that is only coming up on the newer rock. Is this a phase that will eventually pass or is there something more that I need to look into? Currently I have no carbon and gfo running because I used pure rodi water and I wanted the bio ecosystem to come up quickly. Should I start running it? This is two weeks into the tank. Let me know what you think :)

the bubbles look to me like oxygen that the algae is producing. as the algae bloom passes, the bubbles should go away. it doesnt look like bubble algae (Valonia sp.) to me.

are the bubbles coming from the sump? skimmer?

No I do not believe so. They do not come up until the lights have been on for a good bit.

I agree with Ace that it is probably the algae. Especially since you said it does it when the lights come on. Give it a little while to run the mini-cycle and it should go away.

I believe the algae is doing its thing and creating O2 as an off gas.
Keep an eye on the progression of the algae and if it does not go away or subside with maturity of the tank then start the gfo and other stuff if water changes do not alleviate the issue.
