Maybe a dumb question. Whats the best way to clean dry bioballs? Can i just toss them in the dishwasher or washing machine? Spin and tumble them? Or whats the best way? They are dry. I've never used bio balls before and don't know the best way to get all the dried on crud off effeciently without possibly contaminating them for future use. Just curious.

Vinegar soak and bash them around in a bucket? The crud is pretty well cacked on ha ha.

Why not throw a powerhead into the bucket to agitate it for awhile then after a day or two, rinse them off with the hose?

I would do a heavy vinegar soak and use a big spoon or something to mix them around every once in a while then empty the vinegar after a day or so and spray the balls down with a water hose to remove the nasties IMO

Let me know what your wife says when she opens up her washing machine to find a bunch of bio balls in there?
