But with good reason, was working alot lately. SO I have not even had time to work on my 140+ gallon tank. However, hopefully tomorrow, fingers crossed, I will be picking up a 55 gallon tank with stand, with some live rock and some other essentials.
Now that being said, since it is short notice, I would like to know the best place for me to go (as far as prices) to get some RO water, Sea Salt, and some test kits.

Probably be cheaper to grap a ROdi unit and make your own water. Most shops will have them and it is a worthy invesement..

Currently dont have the money for the ROdi unit. I like the investment, and it is one I planned on getting in the future, just not the near future.

I've always had the best premixed or RO water results from ER. I've tried others bstuck with them. They keep up with the water testing. I've never had an outbreak from them, unlike others.

Please don't take this offensively...
Keep the guess work out and do it yourself is the way I look at it....
there should be a handbook and #1 should be learn how to make your own water and how delicate salinity is...
in this hobby it's good to start with the little things first to learn the basics...
mixing water is so simple.. But I've over shot it a few times myself and had to balance it out by taking water out and adding fresh RO water and then adding a little salt to bring it back to 1.025....

i agree. mistakes happen at stores some dont address them as well as others but i like making my own water kowing its 0tds all the time and salinity was checked by me. so if anything is wrong i can only blame myself. i come across good deal on equipment frequently if i hear of a unit ill pass the info to you

If that was in reference to me, no offense taken :)

Appreciate it very much, there is alot of equipment I need to pick up. I still have somewhat some time.
I am getting this 55 Gallon setup because of the deal I am getting for it. Very Cheap. It only has live rock, and I believe live sand in it, maybe might only be sand. Never the less, I dont want to dry out the live rock. So I will be temporary setting up the 55 Gallon tank. At least until the kids are out of school, and I have the place back (kids home schooled this year) where I want to put my 145 gallon tank. Of course I still need to fix it the tank. So just using the 55G to keep the Live Rock alive.

Is it premixed RO, or just metal and chemical free water, either way I would like to know the price, thanks!
