Elegant reef or phenomenal aquatics. In my opinion.

Ben, I will take your evil hermits for the FOWLR. Give me a call and we can work out something.

Well, they aren't all evil I'm sure. I found one eating zoas on the frag rack in the sump. I didn't know he was down there and was likely very hungry...
Besides, I like snails more than I like hermits. Hermits also like snails, but for different reasons...

Yeah Justin says snails are better at cleaning but hermits kill snails :(

I've always understood that snails are better at film algae and hermits are better at hair algae.

I should add "some hermits". Blue and scarlet hermits seem to do better than red leg hermits. My tangs, however, leave them hungry everyday! :)

I usually order mine from either reefcleaners.org or reefs2go.com
And there are NO hermits in my tanks, and there won't be. I finally evicted the last of them and moved them to the predator tank. No corals there to destroy, but they had best watch out for the big lunar wrasse. After losing way too many chalices, zoas and lps to them.........GET OUT! And STAY OUT! Snails and tangs do a fantastic job of algae control, without the aggravation of dead corals and dead snails.

okay..... I have about 6 hermits to get rid of....
they took a big chunk out of some zoas right now..... I noticed 2 on a colony.
NO more hermits for me either....
