I have a question about my Hollywood stunner coral. I currently have it on the sand bed under 2 250w MH lights. I have a standard 90 gallon tank. My question is does this type of coral like direct light or should it be in an area that doesn't get direct light?

Most chalices are not a huge fan of high lighting. They seem to do well in indirect lighting.

Maybe ill move it under a ledge or something to see how it does in less light.

Flow too, chalices typically don't like heavy flow.

I always found my Hollywood stunner colonies to be the most hardy of any chalice and were very tolerable to most anything.

Heat is always a concern with chalices as well. How's your temp swings?

It's doing good. It's growing but not coloring up really well. Where did you have it placed in your tank?

Pretty good growth. I had it in the sand of a 21" tall tank with LEDs. It had pretty strong flow over it at that time.
