My g/f & I are looking at ordering B-ionic from marine depot.

We see that you can order individual jugs of each part for about $18 each.

You can also order a package set that is concentrated for $34.

We have a question.

If we were to buy the package concentrated set - could we unpack the shipping box, poor the whole jug of part A into a larger container - add in the recommended amount of RO water & then simply dose from a pre-diluted solution?

Or MUST we dilute each time we dose?

if your talking about the gallon jugs, they are only partialy filled with solution and all you do is top them off to line and shake and let sit. then you dose

You also have other alternatives to alk/cal supplementing. You can get get the ingredients and mix your own solution and people even make their own 2-part solutions. I only mention that because I've heard the B-Ionic can get expensive for what you get. No personal experience there though. I personally use BRS 2-part. Seems to last me quite awhile. Only had to restock once after about a year of dosing. I did get a bigger tank in that period though.
