that is probably the bigggest carpet i have ever seen! cant wait to see it in the tank. you might want to get a huge fishbag from a lfs and transfer it into that to get it into your tank.

I usually check em online ...basically we all want that what we r getting has been quartine long enough for them to settle down in our home base reef ...
I got this from extreme corals ...

Also this thing is scaring me to death ... It's huge And his foot is literally like my shoe size ... So he's laying on rock and half on my sand bed ... Tunze's hve been turned off and I cut down my return to half ... Hopefully this beast would plant his foot by the time I get back from work ...
So far he's under 2 blue t5s .. Tommoriw I will turn on my halides but shorter light cycle

not sure if its something you wanna try but...with the giant carpet we used to have, we fed it a small piece of shrimp to see if it would eat, my belief it helped in getting the nem to settle in well.

I fed the carpet this morning and it wasn't very sticky 1st time I placed the silverside on him and I got flew away ...I places again and eventually he ate it ...
Mouth is still open but a little less since I fed him ..
Although I am tank conditions seems very ideal for him ...light is enough also and his foot seems planted pretty solid aswell ...I wish I could take the pic the amount of stand he shifted to get his foot planted .....http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/02/04/ne8urede.jpg

I don't have any experience with these but every time I see another video it seems as though they are blasting it with a powerhead. Is this you plan and your still letting it settle in first?

Ben I hve a wave box and 2x6155 on this tank ....1st I turned off every thing and return was only on half way ...2nd day I turned on the wave box and today I turned on 1 6155 pump which is on the other side of tank ...:so far anemone's foot seems planted solid and again all my tunzes r newer wide flow ones but pointed a little upwards moving a lot of uper water column of reef and anemone is being unaffected with the flow ....still got I tunze to turn on which is located right above the anemone but also I dnt think that will hurt him either

S. haddoni needs bright light but do not need a lot of water movement like S. gigantea. LPS type water movement should be great for these anemones. More water flow and they just pick up and move.

lsingh,
your anemone is beautiful and the clown fish is...rare and expensive.
I like my A. percula and my anemones.

It's been 4 months and anemone has been doing great ...it did loose a little bit of color right at center when my kalk reactor popped a while back and Has recovered now fully without moving ...it's definitely at least 2' more has been coloring up more lore day by day .
