So im buying a DSA Neo 65 (36x20x21), used to have a 28g nano. I currently have an mp10, and will have an eheim compact 3000 return pump (792gph). I dont want to sell the mp10, what would i need to add powerhead wise to get enough flow for a mixed reef? Im looking at the tunze pumps, not sure which one i would need. Dont have enough money for another vortech, thoughts?

I have a Oceanic 65. Currenly I have two VorTech MP10 on it and it works great. This is what I recommended but if you want cheaper, Koralia 4 will also work OK. In this tank I used to have two Koralia 4, one on each end. The flow is great but the PH is bulky and there is no night mode, or varible flow like in the VorTech (I like both of these feture a lot). I use the Lagoon mode during the day and night mode start at 9PM-7AM.

with me, the equibment is the least of my expenses.

But I do think flow would not be a issue with your return pump and 1 mp10....

You can get an MP10ESW for about 170 used.
I think one MP10 is too little flow for a 36 inches tank. Got to have a second PH
