I have one hanging over my sump/frag rack. I used it over my frag tank for the better part of a month before having to tear everything down.

I like it, clean lines, metal chassis, cooling is all internal, comes with wires and hooking mechanism that allows it to hang about 8".

I can snap a picture of my sump tonight if you all are interested.

+1, also do you have a spectrum graph or par ratings, I'm trying to figure out if 2 will cover a 48x24x30 tank with enough par on the sandbed and sides for brains, plates, etc...or maybe even a clam

these "black box" lights are pretty good emily runs a version of these on her 20L it has blue green, white, red, uv led, the one she got has a digital display and controller with 6 intervals per channel to ramp up and down. they are basically the same, and mike(txrefer) ran one similar for a while with good results and Emilys tank looks great, so if your on the fence you might want to try it.

Yes. For the big tank. We'll see how it goes. I've been watching the reef central threads for awhile now and everyone seems to be really happy with them. Cant beat this price
