Egg crate! Limit the space they have to get away...

What kind of fish? Tank size? There are several tricks, depending on the species.

I litterally got lucky catching my Blue hippo today she hides behind my overflow so i put a net on each side and she was still asleep i guess and just went right in.

What hook do you use? I've actually been meaning to get over to bass pro for a small fly fishing hook. I have some #12s I was going to file the barbs off of, but I still think they are too big.

I vote fish trap. By day 3 of having it in my tank, my blue hippo and yellow were willing going in the trap to eat the food and I wasn't even wanting them caught :)
