20g Sump lighting

Hey guys just wanted to know what lights yall might advise me of using.For my 20g sump Ive been running just a simple clip on light from home depot but thinking I should change it up?

You talking fuge lighting or just something to light up your sump/stand for maitenance?

Clip on lights work as long as the right bulb is being used...


i have been using the wave point led cause of its size and it has work put as good as the 5k cfl bulb I was using before....

Are you using it as a frag grow out, a refugium, or just to light it up to see around the tank?

Home depot sells a small 8w light that drills into the stand for 10 bucks, it's extremely small but puts out quite a bit of light. Wouldn't do really any good for growth of algae but it's bright enough to do matinence on the tank.

i use a clip on light with a Plant light bulb i got from Home Depo and it works great in my fuge. My cheato is growing like crazy

Yeah pretty much for my fuge I have some cheato in there not as rapid growth but getting there. thanks for the advice though guys Ill check out that wave point led.

Got mine from Louis at Elegent but TT has some and I was at Polly's the other day for the first time and they had a couple....


For raid growth make sure to get the 65k model, I am using the 8k and I am happy with the growth rate..
