Copperband or what other fish?...

I am still having issues with aptasia... Looking at the natural approach as aptasia X and kalkwasser are just temporary fixes...

was looking into a laser but might hold off..

Was now looking at a copperband or file fish...... Which have you had success with?

I tried a lemon peal file fish... He started on the brain first, I never have him a shot at the aptasia after he killed that brain.

The copperband that I had tried to eat the open brain coral. He got evicted. I wouldn't put one in a reef tank.

I tried a file fish but you already know this.The funny thing is that just earlier today the ******* decided to try out some of my prized acans,, nedless to say he is a goner now.

Burghia Nudi's only eat aptasia and they are the only way to get rid of aptasia 100%.

Berghias have worked for me 2 out of 3 times. Copperbands only 1 out of 3. My last copper was very small and mean so I traded him back

Nudis didn't work for me....

maybe my wrasse got them, who knows?


might just try some more peppermints...

Yeah I had to remove the possible predators from my 240g your tank is larger so that means more of a pain. I sectioned my tank off into 2' quarters and catch them by hand so they wouldn't freak out. Then I through them in the sump for a few weeks til I saw no more weeds. It's work but if you want results it's better than rolling the dice on animals that will turn on your corals and you'll end up fishing out later anyways.

I just got a deal for 3 for my 34g full adults no less. I only have 2 small fish in there so they should do well

I'm in El Paso now, I moved last year. They are from a friend out of las cruces. It cut out the shipping costs.
