Kalkwasser Dripper!

Just wanted to share a pic of the dripper I made. Its working Great thus far, holds a little over half a gallon.... Really paranoid, so checking Alk, Ca, and PH twice a day to be on safe side....:)

Yes, be careful. What were you supplementing with before?

I was using BRS 2 part I get from ER.... Being Really Careful....:)

I tried switching to a reactor and kalk dropped the dkh from 9 to 7. The hard part is you have to give the kalk time to see if it's sustaining things, and if it's not, it could be too late. At least a drip should be easier to increase the dose instead of relying on an evap rate. I'm back on 2-part now.

Just did a water change this morning... Mixed up a new batch of Kalkwasser which I'll probably start tonight. I use Instant Ocean Reef Crystals and my parameters are as follow.

PH- 8.0
DKH-8.4
Ca-420

I'm also using Dr Tim's Waste Away and Eco Balance...:)
