do to user input failure my skimmer was not on auto mode on reef keeper. there for it kept running when I shut return off and dumped a cup full of nasty skim in my sump. should I worry or let my system ride it out??

I've overflowed my skimmer before to no ill effects. My tank isn't sps dominated though.

actually sps will prob like the lil treat of extra nutrients lol...... I hope!

ok I guess I'll let it ride, in the bigger picture its a couple cups in 200g of water. I run bio pellets and a big skimmer. just freaks me out as I have had the tank running pretty stable for a long time

the lil LPS I have was very happy!! some acros and milli and efflo slimed up.

You're skimmer will work a little overtime refiltering the gunk back out. I'm surprised anything slimed up, but Milli's and eflo's are finicky anyways.

the acros looked to be feeding but still scared me seeing how full the cup was before it happened.
